This is two full days packed with a variety of sessions for novice, intermediate, and advanced learners who want to learn more about multilingual training, special education and inclusive practices, and differentiation strategies for students who are identified for G/T or other special programs in various content areas and grade levels. Sessions may focus on behavior, instructional strategies, content differentiation, documentation strategies, data collection and so much more. Staff who serve Bilingual and/or SPED Bilingual will be required to attend this conference. Please note this conference offers in person and virtual sessions and the venue will be listed with the session title and presenter(s) name.

THIS COURSE IS REQUIRED FOR 3-5 BILINGUAL/DUAL LANGUAGE TEACHERS AND STAFF RECEIVING THE BILINGUAL OR DUAL LANGUAGE STIPEND

This session is geared for all 2nd grade bilingual teachers that will use Open Court for L2 foundational skills (phonics instruction).


The purpose of this bilingual stipend PD opportunity is to offer professional development to address specific needs of bilingual and dual language educators as well as to fulfill part of the 16 hours of professional development hours to meet the bilingual/dual language stipend requirements set forth by the district between July and May 1st of the current school year. These hours ARE NOT exchange day eligible.
